This reactionary piece was with clear reference to the original “I ♥ NY” logo by Milton Glaser. This is a visual variation that was created early in college, shortly after the 2007 anniversary of the tragic 9/11 incident that we are all familiar with. This speaks to the idea that America’s arrogance and ignorance is to be held responsible for the animosity that caused the attack on the World Trade Center in NY. I am an American who has a share in this responsibility.
